SMplayer is nothing more that a MPlayer frontend they haven't added much in the way of new stuff besides keeping there MPlayer backend updated but vlc on the other hand is still adding new stuff and evolving they have a iphone and Android app as well that is constantly getting better

It really is very good

This would be good if the update man is could do this

Vlc has just become even better with chromecast, HDR and 8k video support. Why would you want to use anything else and a player that hasn't evolved much and just relies on the backend MPlayer

no im not saying change the defult theme but add theses to theme manger so if there are people who would like it to look like windows or mac they are able to do so with out much work
