Thanks, I have 07 so Im good to go. Unfortunately I'm not so familiar with using GP... I did setup this SSD by myself. Took me afew tries!! So I can learn. So in time I should be able to figure out how to add a 2.4gb swap where you said to add it. Extended partition... I dont see that right now but ...

I'm not sure what this all means, but I ran the terminal and this was generated.

When I plug my Dell Mini 9 into the power supply to give it a boost, leaving it running, it gives me these two warning messages when I detach the power supply. Well, I found Pulse audio manager in the applications, sound and video menu. It doesnt seem to be working. Maybe cuz I uninstalled pulseaudio to make my sound work. There is a devices tab, but no hardware tab. Not sure if I reinstall pulseaudio that this will send audio to the headphones, or not. Th...

There are several volume controller applets, one I am using is called gnome-volume-control-applet The only one I have found that works with pulseaudio properly. Mind you I use the Fluxbox window manager so it might not be the same one as you used to have I don't know. I guess I could remove the spe...

When you left click the Mixer Icon you should get a menu like the attached, where you can choose what is included in the mixer to make it full functioning.
