Re: Setting up Linux Stores

It would be nice. But hardly feasible in the near future. For the next 3-5 years, most-likely. If the economy improves after that, I'd say go for it. I doubt it will be possible in the next 3-5 years. Although who knows what will happen in the next few years :D The US economy should be able to boun...

GNU Privacy Guard

I'm in the process of setting up a Monero crypto wallet for the videos I'm planning to upload and monitize on a PeerTube site, and as I'm watching a tutorial on how to do so, it says on the Monero website that I have to set up GNU PG in order to verify the hashes on the blockchain. While I have hear...

Have you tried shutting everything down and then rebooting with the printer plugged in?
No, how will that help?
2.) It might help.
*Might* being the key word. If it doesn't work, I would've wasted my time and be right back to where I started.

Check out this webpage for how to execute a .run file:

https://vitux.com/how-to-execute-bin-an ... in-ubuntu/
I followed the instructions in the link, tried typing in the commands, and it didn't work. I also found the instructions a bit confusing.

Re: YouTube DL Glitch

is there a way I can modify the source code to make it download the video into my folder of choice? Don't worry about the source code, but Yes you can change the default save location, which is /home. If you'd like it to save in /home/$USER/Videos (as I do) then, create a config file. touch ~/.conf...

Not all moderators are moderators for the entire forum; some choose to moderate a specific section of it.
If I knew that before you mentioned it, I wouldn't have brought it up
You would have, if you'd looked at the 'The Team' page linked below.

Re: Turn the Forum into a DApp

A lot of people post to the forum from their phones or Windows computers because they are having issues with their LM install. Or they are posting from low bandwidth or metered usage connections on older computers. Part of the reason I moved to LM was because I don't have an always-on high speed co...

Have Users Created Their Own Mint Editions (Outside of DE)?

While there's Debian Edition as the other official one, I've been thinking of creating my own edition of Mint that would include many improvements, new features, and a vast array of customization. Because of that, I'm wondering if other users have created their own editions, or thought about doing t...

I've been hesitant for the last few weeks to make this post because I've been thinking about if this idea is even worth it or not, but some recent thoughts about it made me think it may be, and here's why: No doubt there are times where the forum has to be taken offline for maintenance reasons No do...
