Then you will have to check your computer's manuals etc. to find out the name of bluetooth adapter. Look at the underside of your laptop too, you may find the name near the battery slot.

Ok, so I had the same problem. There is a device named hci0, which is not in your dmesg output. I think it is not detected by your kernel. This happened with my dual boot mint installation too. Please reply with the output of sudo dmesg | grep -i Blue after running this command:
sudo modprobe btusb

Bluetooth adapter hci0 doesnt get detected in newer kernels

I have installed linux mint 19.3. It doesnt detect the rtl8723d bluetooth adapter in my laptop. I have installed it as a dual boot with Windows 10.
