Re: Linux Mint Apparel
I am always down for swag! I know one forum I buy a lot from is GlockTalk, as they are a very good forum and I enjoy helping them out with funds! I would suggest starting with simple shirts and hats, then if that does well move into bags for some of the netbooks, or even just offer patches to those ...

Re: where did zwopper make his avatar?
Any idea what I can use to make my Avatar on this forum laugh? I have wanted to make it laugh for some time now, since so many sites allow animated avatars.

Re: How did you come up with your user name?
Well mine is extremely old, as far as I can remember to spell. Back in 1979 I tried making a small poster for my door, on it was spelled "Wysir Kid", I thought that adding the words "Why" and "Sir" spelled "Wiser" and of course being about 6 years old, I still...

Re: Using the windows key to open mint menu?
I did that and a menu pops up, I choose "Preferences" and I choose "keyboard shortcuts" under the open window, and that just leads me back to my statement in my previous reply.
Am I missing something obvious then?
I guess I was, things are all good now.

Re: Using the windows key to open mint menu?
I too use the "start" key for all my years using Windows software. Yet I have a question to ask about this question. Did you have to "+Add" a command in order to use the "start" key to open the Menu, or did you edit an existing shortcut? If you did edit an existing shor...

I live with music all the time, and had one of the first iPods, so it is way to difficult not to have a current ver...

Re: itunes
Are there any good alternatives to iTunes for Linux? So far that is the only thing that I WANT to be able to make a 100% transition to Linux. I purchase about $20-30 a month from iTunes, and the iPod has so many accessories at even the local gas stations it is very hard not to have one, specially si...

Re: KDE on Mint Linux 7
I to am interested in "upgrading" to Mint 7 KDE "Gloria" from my current installation of Mint 7 "Gloria" that has GNOME. I am a total NooB when it comes to this, and the reason I want to change to KDE is on account I have a friend who uses KDE and is a "power user&...
