Re: Bulky Installation
Okay. Got it working on Pop!_OS. Below are my steps. Basically I just read the errors and fixed them one at a time as they appeared. The end result is a working Bulky :) 1. git clone https://github.com/linuxmint/bulky.git 2. sudo apt install gettext 3. sudo apt install intltool 4. pip install python...

Bulky Installation
I've downloaded the source for Bulky from the Github page but I'm struggling to get it working on other Linux distros. Does anyone have advice on how to get this installed and running from source?

Pop!_OS Devs Are Creating a New Rust-based Desktop Environment
It's cool that Pop!_OS is making their own Desktop Environment in Rust and moving away from Gnome. What are your thoughts on this?

Re: The new website is looking good
I found one issue with the new website - when loading the "Donors" page on mobile the graph gets rendered on top of the text making it impossible to read either. But that's the only issue I've seen so far.

Re: Linux Mint 20.3
My only wish for 20.3 is an updated Flatpak version.

Re: Remmina [flatpak] System Tray Applet not showing correct icon
It's been almost a year and this is still an issue with the Flatpak version of Remmina. Is there any idea on how to fix this?

Tiling Window Manager for LM
Pop!_OS has a built in tiling window manager that you can toggle on and off. Is there any chance that a feature like this could come to Linux Mint?

Turn on Brave Rewards for LinuxMint.com
I like to support creators through the Brave rewards system since it's built right into the browser and can set automatic contributions without having to sign up to a bunch sites. Has the Mint team thought about turning on Brave Rewards for LinuxMint.com?

Re: What can Mint do about the flawed security model that Linux uses?
I read the whole article and agree with most of it - Even though I feel it was pretty exaggerate. I think these concerns need to be brought to the attention of the upstream devs. With enough pressure from the community I'm sure they'd start working towards fixing these.

Re: Which distro do you use as a daily driver?
Even though this is the LM forums I can honestly say Linux Mint is my favorite distro and my daily driver. I run Debian or a derivative on all of my servers. I have Manjaro KDE on a separate SSD mostly for fun and testing.

Re: Code of Conduct for Linux Mint?
As a Native American I can say I've never once felt uncomfortable in these forums. Our Mods are great and everyone follows the already established rules. Please don't politicize Linux Mint with a code of conduct. It's not need or wanted - at least from this member of the community.

Re: Linux Mint Promotion
Set up a Mint Server edition and pitch to Mom&Pop shops with your "custom built" business model PCs. I feel LM would be better off focusing solely on developing the best desktop environment they can. Having another 'sever edition' wouldn't help bring more average people to the Linux s...

Don't forget, the best way to thank the Dev Team is to donate! It's free for us to use, but not for them to develop. Thank you LM Team!!

If there is a particular program that you want for Linux you can always reach out to the developers of that software and request that they port it to Linux.

Re: Linux Mint Chocolate Bars
This could go beyond just chocolate bars. You could expand this idea to anything you can fit the Mint logo on. But I do love chocolate.
