Re: GPU Sound Controller not Detected After Screen Power Off

Thank you. The command pulseaudio -r fixes the issue. Is there a way to make it permanent?

GPU Sound Controller not Detected After Screen Power Off

Hello. I am using LM20 and listening to the sound via HDMI cable connected to my GPU and Monitor. Everything is working perfectly fine until due to inactivity my screen turns off (atm it is set to 30min in LM settings). After that, when I come back to my PC, and move mouse in order to turn on the sc...

Re: Writing data to USB Drive

Kingstone is the brand of USB devices. I will now try the case back USB ports and also try it on live session.

Oh and yea, if that means something. While progress bar is running, it says that transfer speed to the USB is 250 MB/S :)

Re: Writing data to USB Drive

Do you have any other flash drive to test, because this is not normal at all. ATM I am trying on 16GB Kyngstone USB 3.0 and 64GB Kyngstone 3.0 drives and both act the same way Some on other forums say that data first gets cached in RAM Memory (depending on RAM size) and I have 32GB of RAM and very ...

Re: Writing data to USB Drive

You could try exFAT. It's what I use and so much prefer over NTFS. Tried it now, exFAT behaves same as NTFS. Progress bar rushes in 5 seconds and closes. This time however it allows eject, but when plug USB stick again and play movie, it works only for like 20 seconds and freezes. So not all data h...

Re: Writing data to USB Drive

But I can not use FAT32 because my movies are 8GB files, as I know FAT32 supports only up to 4GB file size. When i click eject I get error that drive is in use and can not eject. I just need a notification or some signal that data transfer is finished so I can plug out the device, nothing else. I ca...

Writing data to USB Drive

I have problems writing the data to my USB drives. Last night I downloaded the movie, copied it to the USB, progress bar finished, plugged out USB. Went down to plug it to the TV, prepared popcorns, drinks, layed in bed. Tried to play movie but it says error. Then I investigated. I found out that in...

Update Manager (minor bug)

There is a minor bug with the Update Manager on LM 20 Cinnamon Edition. Bringing the UM window up and down (open and close) by clicking it's try icon makes the window moving down each time, until it reaches the panel with its bottom line. I'm sorry if I posted on the wrong section of forum, admin ca...

Re: initramfs unpacking failed: Decoding failed

I had the same issue on LM 20, and the suggestion fixed the problem. However can someone tell us more about it, what the problem was, and what this fix actually did? Thanks.
