you havent given a complete systems spec - the apu is heavily reliant on your ram - motherboards differ in available ram size for apu ( example some only do 2gig, 4gig mine has a max shared of 16gig *) ---- so anything under 32gigs of ram for me would be pointless. the APU seems a bit under powered ...

the rx 550 requires a PSU of 400watts minimum

the system you have only has 255watts

pretty sure its just the runtime that is included...

need to get the development component possibly via synaptic package manager, if it isnt the software manager.

i dont develop in java, but i do use java 8 and java 17 for minecraft compatibility via multi mc

i have a similar problem, my current workaround for it is to use

- big picture mode

but its not ideal when getting discussion notifications and things, great for launching games though

(im running on a 32 inch TV / monitor )

ive attempted to ask r/dfebian what the implications could be for redhat pulling the source code without payment... should get some interesting feedback i hope.... my concerns revolved around critical systems such as systemd and pulse audio if distro's using systemd as their core init, dont pay lice...

i only ever stuck with steam, heroic launcher or bottles for my gaming needs.
