I'm still waiting to hear whether it works if you leave them on. You have not given them enough time to prove doing that works. Only if it works can we investigate why have them turn off doesn't work.

When what turns off? You said you changed the setting for the monitors so they stay on.

The computer does not turn off when it suspends; it just goes to a lower power state.
