Re: Will Linux Mint eventually support Arm?

Yes please.

My Pinebook Pro and Pis are the only systems I own not running Mint.

This space is only going to grow and being late to the game would be a mistake IMO.

Debian and Ubuntu are clearly laying the groundwork. I don't pretend to know what more it would take, I just think it is worth it.

Re: New Linux User Boot Issue

Are you booting from a multi boot usb by any chance? I made this mistake at first and it perpetually kept trying to install onto the USB rather than the SSD. After I created a mint 20 usb via RUFUS the problem was solved.

Hello Mint Universe

Recent convert from Canada. After a bit of distro hopping I landed on Mint 20 xfce. Couldn't be happier.

These boards were a big help in the conversion process.

Thanks to everyone here who contributes to this community.

Re: Linux Mint 20 success or issues

Mint20 was my first linux install since the early 2000s. Have had basically no issues on my Dell inspiron netbook, an HP2000 notebook and a optiplex 130. The optiplex is pushing the limits of minimum requirements but its still 1000x better than windows. Only issue I have had is one usb wifi dongle n...

Mintbox in Canada?

Just wondering if anyone has managed to get a mintbox in Canada. I'm hoping to order the mini 2 pro but can't find any domestic resellers and I'm curious about how bad the import charges will be. I love the look, the fanless design, and the fact that a percentage goes to mint developers but if it's ...

Re: Good Job Linux Mint Team!

I would add my thanks and congrats as well. Mint 20 is fantastic. I'm a lifelong dos/windows user who finally got frustrated. I've dabbled with Linux a few times over the years but Mint 19 (and now 20) makes me think that I can finally make the change. I'm in the process of either wiping and going m...
