For my problem, it's 100% sure this is the title bar disable who make GTK errors.

I have tried changing only the title bar option with a default configuration, and the same problem appears.

I have same problem. Linux Mint Mate 18, kernel 4.4.0-87-generic. I have many gtk errors when i run firefox with terminal, so it's graphical problem who making bug and freeze.
