I think I just found the solution. If I plug in my earphones all the way, sound is weird but if I don't push it in completely until the click it works! Don't know why this is the case but sound is finally normal. Thank you for all the time and effort MrEen!

The headphones were unplugged when doing that command.

Another thing to add is that the bgm sounds perfectly fine, its just the talking that seems underwater.

I'm not sure if moving them around is helping blindly is helping. Could you screenshot your alsamixer so that I can just copy it?

I tried checking alsa mixer, but found that there was no control panel for headphones which seems weird. It just says 00 with no bars.

I'm not sure if this will help but I just noticed that the bgm for videos is very loud compared to the talking. Maybe that means its a problem with the equalizer?
