Many thanks for the quick reply. Anyway, meanwhile I managed to get the WIFI running again, by reinstallation of the correct driver. So there is no need for a system recovery.

[SOLVED] reinstallation of Mint20 without USB

For some reason my USB boot is not working any more.
But I need to reinstall Mint20 after having crashed my Wifi connection.
Is it possible to reinstall using a downloaded ISO while Mint is running?
Or is it possible to recover the original version without snapshots?
