The error message suggests the right command, but does not tell to do so with root privileges. Your report looks fine. What version of Firefox are you using? I'm on version 82.0 and not seeing the problem. Did you change the theme in LM20? That can sometimes cause problems with colors. Yes I did to win 10 and the Firefox is updated to the latest as I tried reinstalling it trying to get it worked.
But the problem was still there after I restored to default theme and many other images too like some on Linux mint forums got a green filter or got modified the same way.

Did you reboot & see if wifi works now without tethering? DON'T KNOW HOW BUT UPDATING TO THE LATEST KERNEL AND THEN AGAIN DOWNGRADING IT TO THE OLDEST I HAD WORKED (IN MY CASE IT WAS FROM 5.4.52---5.8 then back to 5.4.26) THANKS EVERY ONE WHO TOOK THEIR TIME OUT TO HELP ME. FINALLY I CAN CONTIN...
