Re: LMDE Advanced Hardware Support
Thank you that could be useful for amd ryzen 3000 users like me. But my graphics card based on RX 5000 series, in this case can we get the latest mesa in LMDE 4 ? The only option you've got here is to... follow what the person before you said. Anyways, most users then want the easy part and that's ...

Het is me dus nie...

Re: windows only software draien onder linux Mint / Ubuntu

Re: LMDE4 upgrade
The amount of wallpapers in LMDE is better then the amount of wallpapers in "plain" Mint. Just saying :-). The same number can be achieved in regular Mint, open Synaptic Package Manager and make sure the following packages are installed (maybe a few too many entries below but you get the ...

Re: Changing Mint's default browser?
The problem is actually that Mozilla Foundation is no longer the 'do good' organization they're currently being paid off through donations of others to push industry standards which will also not increase the world like DNS over HTTPS (DOH) . I do however know that Google does the same but to their ...

Re: Linux Mint 20.1 “Ulyssa” Cinnamon released!
For those whom are interested i managed to upgrade from 20 -> 20.1 without any 'damage' and this was done by changing my apt sources and performing a dist-upgrade as there's no official way i would for now claim that this is a unofficial way of getting there and maintaining all my packages and data.

Good article, thank you for sharing that with us. Thanks. I'm not trying to stop innovation, I'm trying to let ISPs / Enterprises be more aware of the evil that's coming out of Mozilla Foundation, which is truly vague as this should be a browser (Firefox) which should be bringing us a lot of good. ...

first of all you said you have the problem with all your machines so (Internet is a complicated thing but here goes my shot at trying to clarify); 1. Your provider (which has a very complicated network) has some subscription / capacity problem. 2. The server your trying to reach limits the connectio...

Re: Software as a Service is Dangerous
The problem is everybody wants "cloud" and nobody understands it. It's not just moving your Services elsewhere there's a lot of complexity added not reduced, management tends to think it's a reduction of FTE in the end however they will move towards the cloud and perhaps after a few years ...
