Error when trying to run kdeconnect with flatpak.
Yesterday I set up kdeconnect on my system and to get it working I used kdeconnect-indicator through flatpak. Everything worked well and my computer and phone communicated well. However after retarting my system today the GUI no longer runs and if I try to run it from the command line; flatpak run c...

Re: Kde connect doesn't work. I've try everything!
I had some trouble with getting kdeconnect to work on Mint 20.1 Cinnamon. I found the following link useful to get it working. https://www.atechtown.com/install-kde-connect-ubuntu/ I ignored this code tho because it doesn't add anything flatpak remote-add – if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/...

Re: Problem Printing Jpgs (Blacks faiding to grey)
Thanks for the help.
Turned out it was PEBKAC.
I had forgotten to remove the label from the black ink cartridge.
Only 2 days lost online looking for the answer.

[SOLVED]Problem Printing Jpgs (Blacks faiding to grey)
I am having a problem printing. Dark colours are printing inverted. I'm using an Epson SX400. The Linux Mint Testsheet prints out without any problem, however jpgs have this weird problem with dark colours becoming pale versions. Have added an attachment of the problem. I've installed the ICC profil...

computer slow yet not maxing out
Hi Hope I've put this in correct place. My desktop is running very slow yet the system isn't maxed out. It typically runs at about 50% CPU and 50% RAM, then starts to run increasingly slowly yet doesn't really increase in usage. I can't seem to find anything similar to this elsewere. Not sure if the...

Re: xfce doesn't recognise when a usb is inserted
@richyrich That was the first thing that came up doing searches about this as I had a non-auto-mounting system to fix as well (installing usbmount and pmount cured that).
@Flemur Will check the USB libs.

xfce doesn't recognise when a usb is inserted
I have installed Mint 17.2 cfce 32bit onto a couple of computers and one of them isn't recognising when I insert a usb stick. The others would recognise that a usb stick has been inserted into the computer but would not auto-mount them -they would be available in the "disks" system- which ...

Re: deluge not starting
I've also had this problem come up a couple of times. Tried removing, purging and then reinstalling which didn't work. The only thing which I found to work is deleting the deluge-gtk and deluge-gtk.lock files in /.config/deluge/ipc/ in the home folder. Think its known bug but the deluge website is c...

Hi
There's a note on the dispcalGUI website saying there's a bug with version 0.7.0.7 and to download the new version.

[Solved]Desktop effects not woking on kde 4.6.2
When i turn on the desktop effects on my pc (mint 10 kde) I get a notice pop up telling me that a program has disabled them with no other information, even when I have just started up my system. I have tried looking around for anything similar but I can't find anything. If anybody has any ideas, tha...

Re: Can't get USB EHD's to stay mounted
Just a note to say thank you for your ideas, mikeyb, I had a spare USB hub which I had kicking about and when I plugged it in both Mass storage devices played properly. So while its not fixed I have a work around.
