I have the same issue with Linux Mint 12 and 13

I did go to the MATE website but all Caja fixes are centered on the Fedora version of MATE.

I dearly love using my Dropbox and miss the dropbox menu that came with nautilus with a right click. But Guess I can't have it. yet,

I attempted using the Synaptic Package Management and the PPA route to install Gnome Shell.. Each time I hit this problem:

Depends: libgjs0 but it is not going to be installed

Seems there is a problem with this particular package at this time

Well I give up.. I am going to just format the two partitions and just try Mint 8... maybe I will have better luck under 9.10 flavor of Ubuntu

Ok.. I am using Mint 7 and Mint 7 XFCE and have have found the same problem that i find it a puzzle and have tried many different configurations from both the Linux Mint Forums and Ubuntu forums.. with no success. I am fairly new to Linux but I tend to go through websites and try different solutions...

you can always change it to that same thing you want by going to the Appearance option in the Preferences section.. Its there

Only found one small issue with M-PLayer but thats it... otherwise Linux Mint 8 is impressive.. it automatically selected my sound card and everything else.. where normally i have to manually install drivers.. OUTSTANDING!
