Dat is dan incorrect. Het grubmenu weet niet uit zichzelf dat de 2e boot niet meer bestaat en zal dus in het menu zichtbaar blijven! Dan heb ik wel een speciale computer dat het Grub menu dan wel onthoud . Als ik op mijn viervoudig systeem een linux systeem vervang door een ander bijvoorbeeld LMDE6...

Kun je vanuit het grubmenu een vorige systeemkern opstarten om te kijken of dat helpt?

Niet vergeten naderhand het commando sudo update-grub uit te voeren zodat het grubmenu aan de nieuwe situatie aangepast word.

I myself use rustdesk on all my desktop systems and nomachine for phone connection.
But Anydesk seems also an easy option to setup. I have connected to a forum member on multiple occasions (Netherlands to Las vegas) and it runs great!
