So would it be worthwhile, if you never intend to use level 4 or 5 (which seems only for very hardy, smart and knowledgeable people), simply to stop having 4s and 5s displayed, no? Linux Mint 18 works exactly in this way... if you want, it will never show you those updates, at least in the Update M...

[SOLVED] How do Update levels work?

I have been wondering for a few days about this and haven't found an answer.

A level 4 update will always be marked as level 4? Or is there any possibility that the Mint team tests that package in the future and then it is marked as a level 2 update?
