Re: konqueror in KDE
augh yes...Krusader is a magnificent file manager, Years ago when I used windows, (remember C: win?) there was a file manager like krusader then. It was love at first sight. I was hoping though that the latest KDE Desktop would be somewhat tuned into all the bells and whistles that browsers have, af...

I have never been able to get Konqueror to work as a full functioning internet browser. I could never get flash, or any video for that matter to work, or java, For like 10 years i've used the Gnome desktop mostely because of this. Also, in every Forum I've used, it seems no one has been able to help...

How do I mount a camera?
I have a Samsung telephone with a camera on it. I have a cord that plugs into the camera and a usb port.
Like plugging in a usb stick, it should show up on the desktop where the pictures can be retrieved.
Is there a program that needs to be installed?
I tried f-spot but it cannot detect the camera.

srm, sfill and stuff like that
So I'm trying everything in Linux and I have some questions about sfill. It is part of the srm tool kit. sfill rewrites all the areas that are not being used on a hard drive and places zeros in those areas so that whatever was previously written in that area could not be accessed by anything :D .......

Re: upgrade from 2.6.27-7 generic to server 2.6.27-9
Felicia 2.6.27-7 Generic I haven't been using Mint for a little while because Firefox keeps locking up and I've never found a solution, so I did the above thinking maybe a fix would be there. The update also installed 'server 2.6.27-7.' Yes, I can still get to 2.6.27-7 generic so nothing is lost. I'...

upgrade from 2.6.27-7 generic to server 2.6.27-9
Lets see, I haven't used Mint in a little while so I opened a terminal...
sudo apt-get update
then...
sudo apt-get upgrade
suddenly I have version 2.6.27-9-server without any bells and whistles such as nvidia modules and the like.
what went wrong here?

Re: Firefox Chrashes When I Open This Link!
I'm having the same problem. I just installed x_64 and Firefox crashes when I visit any links at msn.com. It doesn't seem to be a flash problem, I can play videos at foxnews.com without incident. I installed Opera and it doesn't seem to have any problems with the links at msn.com. from the terminal....
