Obviously NO other part of Linux Mint 19.3 is updated. You've not been receiving any security updates for any components, inclusive of the kernel, since April 2023, other than the ones that you're manually updating. I wouldn't be able to quantify how much of a security risk this would be without kn...

Re: no update available from mint 21.1
Is it possible to somehow configure something else the wrong way which prevents me from seeing the update option? I suppose that could be possible, however I am not aware of it. It's my understanding that if such an upgrade has been made available, you just need the latest versions of those two com...

Re: no update available from mint 21.1
It should be.xkxk wrote: Exactly I don't see any option there. But as I see on your screen it should be?
From the terminal, see the results of:
apt list mint-upgrade-info mintupdate
For LM 21.1, mint-upgrade-info should show version 1.2.5, and mintupdate should show version 5.9.8.

Any suggestions gratefully appreciated. Speaking for myself, anytime I'm introducing a new desktop, it's via a fresh install. I am using Windows 10 and want to add Linux Mint xfce to it. I am following the steps but the right-click feature to 'save as' does not exist. I don't use Windows, nor do I know what browser you're attempting to download with, but that "Save As ..." option would be a function of your brow...
