Still wish installer would install to two or more disks. This is the same with April 2012 iso's.

Re: LMDE RC
Why doesn't the installer allow setting /home on separate drive?
Do I have to set my separate home drive in fstab after install or can i hack the install script?

Re: Installing Mint Debian with Ubuntu /home partition
I do this all the time. Usually delete all dot folders except the ones i want to save settings on like Mozilla and Thunderbird( ( and .mozilla-thunderbird). You can save skype and pidgin and font folders too.
Delete all dot files except for my .conkyrc.
Still back up though

Re: LMDE Bug Reports Thread
I apologize if I am in the wrong thread, I don't know if this is a bug. Is it correct that the LMDE installer will not allow you to install grub to a partition? The only choice seems to be to an MBR. I worked around this and so far LMDE run great. Same here and I won't wipe my mbr. Need to install ...

Re: PCLinuxOS, I'm afraid I have some bad news.
I tries Pclinuxos 07 and gnome edition. Gnome is better for them but to bad the distro is based on Mandriva. Not much in their repos as much as Mint.

Re: Mint is so great! Congratulations.
Mint has everything I need for my usage. Best of all is the codecs setup as even Ubuntu is hard to keep flash working on. I would have liked to see Mint keep Ubuntus add/remove for software and the auto detect for printers as it would be easier for newbies. Thanks to all for a great distro that Just...

Re: Gutsy slow login
I am running Darnya now and notice it a bit less than gutsy. I don't see the printer utility in Darnya or ntfs tool anymore and no games installed. I thought these would have helped newbies. Hopefully next Mint comes on dvd to have room for all the good stuff it deserves.

Gutsy slow login
Login on gutsy is slow after your name and password are entered. Is this the same with Darnya?
I just want to know before I upgrade from Celena.
Thanks
