Made the change and restarted twice. I've found problems don't show always show up after first restart. The third restart, after I logged in, the wireless disconnected from my laptop. Problem is still happening with me. moebleh- Is your problem still fixed?

Spoke too soon. It still drops Internet connection but only about once a day. I still feel it's something from an update but can't say what, since I don't know.

Seems to have fixed the problem for me as well. Thanks for the post. Might want to mark 'Solved' so it's easier for people to find the fix.

Was this solved? I've been having the same problem and just tried JB's fix. I'll post results later.

Which CentOS question? Did I miss something? Happens frequently

Then I did the next command and after 30sec it returned to the prompt. I did ctrl-d twice and it went to logout so I logged out and back in.
What should have happened?
