That's the one I asked about in an earlier post. I searched DeviantART until I found it; the artist's handle is nmsmith. Oh, and the burn effect is growing on me also! :P

Re: Unofficial Post Your Linux Mint Desktop Thread

Just press and hold down ctrl + alt and while holding those buttons down press and hold left mouse button. You can then release ctrl and alt but continue to hold down left mouse button, move your mouse until you get the desired shot then press print screen. Thanks for the info! Edit: Very pretty! D...

Re: Unofficial Post Your Linux Mint Desktop Thread

I'm not into effects and glam (Fluxbox user here  ), but I put together a Gnome box for my son today with enough effects to make your eyes bleed. I went crazy with Compiz and emerald--lots of fire and spinning spheres and reflections--and he loved it. He is already telling all of his friends i...

You might try searching on the Eve-Online forums. I found the following info there:

Re: The status of Mint Fluxbox CE

Any word from Clem on the ETA of the final release? Not that I'm impatient or anything...
Just an FYI, I've been playing with a couple of the other versions of Linux Mint, and FB is still my favorite!

Re: Make Mint's website attractive and actually useful

I agree that the page is well-done and do not mean to put down anyone's hard work; I just want to offer suggestions on how to make it easier on the eyes for newcomers. :) "Ads by Google..." between every announcement ? What do you mean by that, seems like something I have missed, perhaps because I h...

Re: How many times did you break your first linux install?

I have enjoyed reading your replies! It gives me something to show hubby so he can see that I'm not entirely off my rocker. Not only did I break that install but I managed to destroy the partition table that it and Windows was installed on. I'm glad I'm not the only one then, lol. With every ...

Re: Make Mint's website attractive and actually useful

The only thing that really bugs me is the fact that there is a box with "Ads by Google..." between every announcement. Combined with all of the sponsors and adverts down the right hand side of the screen -- plus the giant sponsor box at the top -- this is simply too much. I realize that adverts are ...

Re: How many times did you bork your first linux install?

I'm glad Mint is so easy to reinstall... My Vista partition ate itself via chkdsk and I had to reinstall from DVD...it took 4 hours just to install and get all of the updates from WindowsUpdate (Every time I updated and rebooted, more updates appeared! :x ) I was doing a fresh install of Linux Mint...

How many times did you break your first linux install?

I am a new linux user, and am having the time of my life learning new things and tinkering under the hood of my shiny new LM 8 Fluxbox CE. However, I have now lost count how many times I've broken my system and had to do a fresh install! I haven't figured out whether to be ashamed or proud, w...

Re: The status of Mint Fluxbox CE

I am also running the RC of Helena FB, and this is included already. When I open /home/<my home>/.fluxbox/keys, this is the fourth line from the bottom:

Mod1 F3 :ExecCommand /usr/bin/sbt

I hope this helps!

Re: Mint 8 and #! conky comparision

I would be interested to see the same comparison using LM fluxbox CE rather than the main edition, hint hint. :P

I'm not quite comfortable with Linux in general to distro-hop and try my own comparison (been on Linux <2 months), but I've been having lots of fun DE-hopping within the LM distro...
