I had a similar problem. Now I don't use it as "superuser".
Maybe not as efficient, but much safer!

Re: Removal of SD Cards from Card Reader
I have always used the "safely remove" option without any issues, but I also remove the card immediately. This works for cards and for also my camera (which shows as a card).

Re: Graphics card success stories w/ Mint 9 or 10?
I have an amd Phenom X4 system with 4 gigs of ram and an Nvidia GTX 460 graphics card (1 gig ram), with a dual monitor (Viewsonic, 22 inch, 1680x1050) display. I am using the Nvidia 260.19.06 driver. I'm not into games, nor am I familiar with TORCS, but I am more than happy with my set-up, and had n...

Re: Question about conky photo setup
I've got 4 photos to display being stored in home/mastery/conky_photos and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I searched the Net, but not much info on this program. The thing that also confuses me is the "photo=/tmp/conkyPhoto.png" section above, since it's calling on a photo that I...

To install Opera, I first installed gdebi, and then Opera. No dependency problems.

Re: LMDE Bug Reports Thread
When I started up today after downloading level 3 updates last night, I have no /HOME.
I have no access to Nautilus, or menus or anything. Just a screen with the wallpaper, and a very minimalist task bar.

It's been a long time since I used lightscribe, but I have a hazy recollection that it involved the terminal and sudo.
Perhaps you could try that?

Me too!
I am running Isadora Main 32 bit. Sometimes the area of the menu button is corrupted, including the show desktop icon.
I am using a desktop with 2 lcd monitors, using Nvidia twinview.
