Thanks, I got through most of the posts I could find regarding this sound card (and similar ones) but no luck. However, I've a suspect that could be responsible for the observed (heard) problems. See that the Intel 4965 wireless card is resetting itself very often. First suspect was the HPET problem...

One more observation - the sound loops can be triggered when leaving the mouse without any move. If mouse is moving - music is unlocked.
