Re: Move the password re-login box - a pointer perhaps?
I was hoping after over 300 reads that someone might tell me something. I realise my request is trivial to some. Or Perhaps I have not made it clear... When I lock my screen or it times out, the logon box appears in the middle of the screen. I would like to change the co-ordinates that position this...

Re: Felicia-monitor resolution will not go to 1280x1024 RESOLVED
Got IT! Husse! Many Many thanks in the end I did this 1. I added Driver "nvidia" to the section device in /etc/X11/xorg.conf (as root of course else it will not allow editing) 2. I added Option "DynamicTwinView" "False" to the same file and same section (In my case I th...

Thanks Husse - the problem HAS progressed but not yet solved. - Was able to add the driver as you suggested - in nvidia-settings optioons appeared to set to 1280x1024 60Hz - but I cannot make them permanent - I have ran gksudo nvidia-settings - saved and rebooted - settings lost - I ran a failsafe s...

Re: Felicia-monitor resolution will not go to 1280x1024 REOPENED

BUT I have the same problem on Felicia x64 and I cannot find the fix that worked before - i'm certain is was a from a post initiated from me BUT that is now academic! Re: losing DNS settings in Daryna (re-edited post)
Tony, Thanks for trying to help - I have done what you suggested - the thing is that daryna does not wait for a reboot to remove my settings from resolv.conf it usually does it within the hour. I have looked for a crontab entry but no avail. Something is resetting my DNS list back to the default (re...

It is driving me mad. I Have looked deep i...
