I just gave that a go without much luck--still no sound. Bizarre. Not really sure how to troubleshoot it either.

I've got a few packages that I'd like to use bleeding edge versions of (gpsbabel for one, and maybe Firefox 4?). I'm assuming the newer versions will eventually drop into Testing, but I'm way to impatient to wait a couple weeks--I'd rather deal with a little bit of instability here and there for the...

in defence of the OP, I just did a search for "install kde" and was told that the words were too common to be an acceptable search. :D

Also, those instructions don't seem to work any more--anybody else have any input on installing mint-meta-kde64 or something similar?
