I've never actually done an update before. I've tried a number of distributions but I've never actually updated one. And on a sidenote, great job with Linux Mint. It does far more than Ubuntu does out of the box.

Hey, thanks for that. I have both KDE and GNOME now. I used Kubuntu before coming over to Linux Mint (GNOME) and I prefer GNOME, somewhat. It looks nicer to me. Also, I'm on a limited bandwidth plan and 200mb downloaded (for KDE) is a significant amount to me. So, I don't feel like uninstalling KDE....
