Re: seeking help - Netgear A6100 with Realtek chipset

i was able to get mine working just by using the driver manager. Driver Manager offers (as of 16-Aug-2019) only the "version 4.3.8.12175.20140902.. " Synaptic only offers this same edition, but that is no surprize. I found "version 4.3.14..." through 'git'. I'll need to use sudo make -f Makefile.dk...

seeking HOWTO -- Win10 in VM on Mint 19.2

Would someone kindly direct me to a HOWTO so that I might run Windows-10 in a Virtual Machine (VM) one a Linux Mint 19.2 Cinnamon host? I've been searching and presume that I simply don't know enough to ask the right questions in the right places. I have a Win-10 Pro official media. I understand tha...

Hope this helps ...
Looks like I have much reading to do.

Patch worked for me!
Is there some setting or permission that I need to flip to enable desktop launchers?

If this is failing and throwing an error, is there a log somewhere that explains what is happening?

Thanks in advance,
