Re: Unofficial Post Your Linux Mint Desktop Thread
Just reinstated my original conky theme, I figure I'll use it as a base and modify it, slowly adding more and more lua to it. It'll be project epsilon. I also made a launcher that runs a command to restart conky, makes it quicker to work b/c I just press the button after saving my changes and I can ...

Looking at everyone's pretty conky-lua action is making me jealous. Anyone got any links to good tutorials on how to make this stuff? I'm tired of cut and pasting other peoples scripts.

Acess Encrypted Partition
I borked my LM11 partition, can't use it anymore. I just installed another LM11 partition and need to copy all my files from my old partition but I encrypted it. How do I access the files?

Re: THE MINT CAFE
Anyone update to the new Firefox? Quite a bit more snap to it, I'm surprised. It's becoming competition with Chrome, maybe with the new cycle it'll compete with Midori too!

Re: Unofficial Post Your Linux Mint Desktop Thread
Linux Mint 11 dual-screens. They're different resolutions hence the black bar on the bottom right side.

It's pretty big so here's a link for a better picture:

LMDE is based on Squeeze, right? Re: LMDE when 64bit?
LMDE (the 64-bit version) comes with 64-bit Firefox and 64-bit Flash by default. Can LMDE64 come with Swiftfox so we can have a 64-bit browser also? And flash already installed since installing 64-bit flash is annoying and hard?

Re: Unofficial Post Your Linux Mint Desktop Thread
This is my 1st ever Arch install, took me a while but was absolutely worth it. http://i.imgur.com/81MqZ.png Why'd you use GNOME if you're running Arch though? Most people do Arch to make a lightweight system that comes with what they want and nothing more. I'd probably do AwesomeWM or Xfce 4.8 if I...

I just discovered what's so magical about running dual monitors. Right now I'm in the process of compressing files in 7-zip (Windows) but tomorrow I'll install #! Linux and get some good caps of AwesomeWM. I promise!

Re: Future Releases (No more GNOME???)
Personally I think Mint should convert totally to Debian and do either KDE or Xfce. KDE for eye candy or Xfce because it's slightly less bloaty. User friendly? The only difference is the partitioner and that could be ported into LMDE. Debian works faster and better than Ubuntu plus Squeeze is suppo...
