hello all, after installing Mint9 on my Dell Inspiron 1520 everything seems to be fine except when i use Fn+Brightness keys (Up/Down) it seems that the bar lags behind by one level. i'm using ZTE MF628, its very easy to install. You just plug your modem in, it shows up as mounted partition, then you should right click on it and select "Eject", and it will go into modem mode, then in network applet you just configure it selecting proper country and proper GSM provider ...

maybe its just bad pulse config, try going to pulse configuration menu and see the difference when mic is working and it is not. also it might be that vent is just muting you mic to prevent other from hearing what you are listening right now.
