My ASUS 17" has two actual physical drive bays in addition to the DVD player on the side. I've had this thing for years, it's been an absolute workhorse for me. The day it gives up the ghost will be a sad sad day.

Noticing the same behavior after the updates this morning. Right mouseclick on desktop provides a different menu now, where as before one could update/change the desktop backgrounds. This is no longer possible.

I swapped out the internal wifi card in my notebook with an Intel AC 7260. Took me 30 minutes of fiddling to get the drivers to install properly in Winderz. How far away from the router are you? If you move closer for a better signal strength, do you still experience the connection issue?

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on the 7260. With the existing connection speed combined with router, the 5GHz band is sufficient with the 2 data streams.
