Hybrid boot EFI/Legacy

I notice that if I put a 64 bit Mint Live DVD in a system and boot to it it wil boot either legacy or EFI.

I want a Mint instalation that does this on a USB memory stick, but how can I do it?

Re: nVidia drivers in mint 9 won't go active

I have the same issue.

I am beginning to think that mint uis more buggy than Ubuntu. No Nvidia , no DVD burning. They both worked in Ubuntu.

I see nothing that works here!

It appears that search for files may be broken. I enter a known filename on my local hard drive under my home/user/downloads directory and it does not find it!

I would say that is BROKEN!

Re: Audigy 2 Sound Card Driver

I recently saw an ubuntu bug report about this and nobody could seem to confirm that it is happening in ubuntu 9.X
My problem is the sound card dies when I seem to get a long time where the computer stops responding. Could be related I suppose.

Any luck with Infrared on this?

Re: Hardware Conflict?

generate a report? HOW?

This is the question.

Also because OSes are plug n Pray, it is probable that the conflict would not exist, as it did not exist in windows.

Instead of saying "generate a report" perhaps tell me HOW to do that
