Too bad I have the same problem as destribbes above, not only at my desktop (NVidia GT275 card) as well as at my laptop (GT55M -> Optimus/Intel HD). Lol I got exactly the same issue. Strange fix however, hopefully it works fine here.

I was because of something I installed. I tried mac4lin and removed it again, after that I got this 2x click on Linux Mint menu problem. The rest seems to work normally again. It's GTK related.

Nice thanks about the Grid plugin in Compiz. It's not drag & drop, however you can just set your favourite key bind and it works fantastic.

Same problem I cant use the tilde key in Armagetron nor Call of Duty 4 (wine) which is in both games the console!
I use a normal USA keyboard (without dead key) what to do !?
