I like PC Linux TR3.I have loaded it on several computers with no problems.I also loaded it on my Toshiba Satellite M55 laptop.It was the only one that went right up and loaded beside XP without a problem and everything worked including my Atheros wireless card. I am on Mint Bianca Gnome on this PC....

Ok.I reloaded both Mint KDE and PC Linux. This time I only got Thunderbird and GAIM from the package manager . I will not allow updates or get more.that keeps my wireless working.There is a bug in that area.

Well.I had a prob with all three mints.Bea,Bianca and KDE.I reloaded and will not go for updates.That way my wireless stays on.I only got GAIN and Thunderbird from KDE package manager.( this time)

Well Clem .All was well until I got some stuff from package manager.Then later rebooted and out went the wireless.This happened on Mint Bea,Mint Bianca and now Mint KDE. I just got a DVD-R blank disk and burned the KDE ISO. I really like it . Well.I have been doing it the hard way I guess. I always can cut the burn rate down to twelve or sixteen on K3 B. I have not tried the burner Clem says to use.
