Hi, thanks for replying. I saw that thread when I searched before posting. Most of it seems to be further diagnosis, or suggestions that it's a hardware problem (dust/lint etc). I know it's not a hardware problem, as I can get the fan to run properly and the temperature to come down when I put win7 ...
