This vulnerability is news on our local FOSS board. It seems that a new bash is available to patch for it. Will this be made available to Mint users, please?
In my case, LM13. I am going to the end of the line with this LTS. It's great.
thanks

Re: Screenshots and Desktop Recording in Cinnamon and GNOME3
Work around, if not a SOLVED I have just used Synaptic Package Manager to install AMD's fglrx-amdcccle-updates 2.12.104-0unbunitu0.0.1. SPM describes this as Catylst Control Centre Linux Edition, which I guess is what the acronym means. SPM said it would delete fglrx-amdcccle, the latest version of ...

Re: analog sound not found
Hi Viking, I had no idea I was in the wrong place. I do apologise. Please kindly direct me to the protocols page. I did read the "read this". I am not finding my way around very well. I had no idea that I was cross-posting, either. I have heard the term and, be assured, my infringement was not delib...

analog sound not found
I posted this yesterday under a solved topic. I saw a post to say I had a better chance of getting an answer if I started a new topic. Here goes. I'll go back for the previous reference number. [Well Mads, must be the go to person on this topic. I have been looking high and low for a few hours.] I u...

Re: Mint 11 hangs after being inactive for a while
Same here. I've had Mint 11 for 2 days (upgraded from Mint 7) and the new girl has hanged herself 5 or 6 times. I am not sure it is associated with screensaver, it seems to occur during steady work, too. I have 4 or 5 windows running, like everyone else, switching and refreshing and the time, page d...

Re: numpad stopped working
please add SOLVED to subject line. This issue is a teeth gnasher, thankfully solved. It seems to happen spontaneously.
