okay i have it but i still cant get it, in not sure if in using the right commands. i tried following the instructions on the link but it keeps say ./config is not a command and when i use the make command i just get the message i posted

when i use the make command i get this message 'make: *** No rule to make target `/usr/share/qt3/mkspecs/default/qmake.conf', needed by `Makefile'. Stop.'

installing lmde and removing windows

right no i am dual booting windows 7 and linux mint 8 and i want to install lmde, so will i have any problems installing it with mint 8 on it? Im still pretty new with linux.

2. to remove windows can i just put in my windows cd and delete my partition with windows?

I have been dual booting mint 8 and win 7 for a while now, but i never really learned how to use linux. Honestly it really isn't worth the bother to try to get all your Windows games running in Linux. I keep a Windows partition just for my games. I do everything else in Linux, and boot into Windows only when I want to play games. It really is the easiest solution. Getting Windows games to run in Linu...

Okay I want to remove windows 7 off my laptop and just use Linux mint but I have a few games that I play and I don't know if I can or how to play them in Linux, so can someone tell me if I can and how to do it.

I didn't have a primary master I just used the hdd as primary slave and booted from the cd. So up just use it as slave, install then switch it to master
