A lot of screentearing in videos?
I recently switched back to Mint after trying Ubuntu but in this new release all flash videos have a lot of screen tearing that didn't happen with Ubuntu. I checked in firefox and it says flash needs updating, but I can't find any files on the adobe site that I can actually install in Mint. Any help?

After that, I restarted the computer and re-installed cinnamon via synaptic. Done that,...

Isn't Cinnamon supposed to work?
This is my stock Cinnamon install. It looks nothing like the screenshots, has no MintMenu, has a panel at the bottom and the top despite being set to bottom panel only mode and changing themes does nothing, it still looks exactly the same. What's going on and how do I fix it?

Any chance of Mint for Android?
I'm sure by now we've all heard of Ubuntu for Android, but is there any chance of Mint getting something like that? Specifically a way to plug our phone's up to our laptops/desktops and be able to use our Android apps on the Mint desktop?

Re: Dualboot question/cinnamon
will Cinnamon brake my Mint 9 Not quite sure what you are asking here. Do you want to replace 9 with 12 or install 12 alongside? You can only run cinnamon in mint 12 so am not sure how it's going to affect 9. If you are thinking of installing alongside and sharing your home, then that is not a good...

How do I dual boot Mint and Vista?
I have Mint 9 on my laptop and would like to add Windows Vista to dual boot. How would I go about setting this up?
Also, if I get a virus in the Vista boot, it wouldn't affect the Mint one, right? And if I went on a site that had viruses with Mint, it couldn't get to the Vista part?

This OS is full of nothing but problems!
I was impressed when i first installed it, and it worked fine. Then this week I upgraded to Mint 10 and found that fullscreen flash doesn't work so i downgraded back to Mint 9(the version that comes free with magazines) and found that for some reason, I couldn't extract rar's. So I reinstalled Mint ...
