Re: Thank you to those supporting others here!

Thanking Fred Barclay himself for directing me to check again for two-finger scrolling in Cinnamon 2.8. Such a little thing makes using a laptop with Mint 10x nicer. I had thought it was only now coming with Cinnamon 3.0! (DERP :P )

So 17.3 fulfills every need of mine for now after all.

...So I just found that in "the last place I looked".

D'OH!

Re: Is there an approximate date when Mint 18 will be released?

My killer feature for Mint 18 will be two-finger scrolling in Cinnamon. I use this a lot on my laptop when I am not docked and need to rely on the touchpad. It's a really nice feature to have on-hand. I currently use Ubuntu on that machine and would love to hop back over to Mint. 18 will indeed make...

Re: Mint 13 LTS iso update and ubuntu 12.04.2

A re-spin would be greatly appreciated. Just installed Maya on a new build and it took an incredibly long time to download / install the updates. ...Perhaps some of the backports, such as MATE 1.6 / Cinnamon 1.8 could be included after a certain span of time as well, but now I'm just getting greedy ...

Re: What do you not like about Cinnamon?

Personally, I'd like adequate visual feedback when clicking on panel elements ( just a simple "indentation", such as in Gnome Panel would suffice.. nothing flashy needed ) It's slightly jarring to click on an icon and get no visual confirmation that the panel even responded. I miss being able to edi...

Re: Plea for a detailed Weather Report applet or extension

I'd like to see this too. + + For the radar view. I use that all the time. It's one of several things that are shifting me to MATE right now. I'd love to see a proper port to Cinnamon. The current Cinnamon applet for weather is nice, but it's not quite like the Gnome Panel implementation.
