Re: Future Releases (No more GNOME???)

When YOU suggest a command that will harm another . . you have been reported ! LOL! When did I suggest this? I never typed it out at all. It's a picture that someone else made. Reported?!?! Oh NO! What am I to do! There aren't any other internet forums than this one! I won't know what else to do if...

Re: Why linux ?

@JonM33 You tried this before. It's not a joke if you have to tell people it's a joke. -hinto No, it is in fact a joke if you tell them it is. Because otherwise they take the above picture (posted as a joke on another forum) and assume that I intend people to ruin their own computers with it. I und...

Re: Future Releases (No more GNOME???)

JonM33, Why do you want to damage/destroy other peoples computers ? To all other members - do not follow anything that JonM33 says or recommends. It's a joke. I know you Linux users don't know how to laugh or have any sense of humor though. Don't worry, nobody here will do that anyway because nobod...

Re: Perfect way to get the typical home user off of microsof

Just so everyone knows, there's a nice method for ignoring users on the forum (lest they annoy you) User Control Panel>Friends and Foes>Manage Foes On that note a very merry Christmas! :D Easier way, actually. Click on their name next to their post > click Add foe > click Yes to confirm. That way a...

Re: Goodbye Ubuntu Netbook Edition Maverick, hello Jolicloud

Apparently even the Jolicloud developers feel that the EULA (TOS) needs "clarification" http://getsatisfaction.com/jolicloud/topics/would_like_some_clarification_on_the_jolicloud_eula Looks pretty clear to me... Of course, we do not have access to the content you create from applications ...

Re: Perfect way to get the typical home user off of microsof

Jon, just be friendly and please stop trying to arise the forum. Play well with others. :D How have I not been friendly? Do I PM people with random profanity like grey1960envoy does? Do I constantly insult people for their choice of software like grey1960envoy does? Maybe you are confused at which ...

Re: Goodbye Ubuntu Netbook Edition Maverick, hello Jolicloud

How arrogant you are - I know how to "real" (your typo) an article in English. You may well be correct and that "content" refers to just software but that is not apparent under the heading within the TOS headed "Content". Also the TOS is "governed by French Law&qu...

That's what I thought. I've never seen anyone link to a website with claims before and then have nothing in that link to back up the claim. That's borderline insanity.

Re: Perfect way to get the typical home user off of microsof

Jon, if you really wanted to start making the move to Linux then you first start by asking questions like what version is best for your needs and your PC. Then some of the Gurus would have advised you as to what you would be best with. then you can list your concerns and then again some would help ...

Re: What's with the Windows bashing?

I think you should OPEN your eyes and READ THE FORUMS ON THAT WEBSITE AND YOU WILL SEE IT AS PLAIN AS DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe instead of linking to the main forum page you should link to the specific forum section or thread that discusses this. That might help support your supposed theory.

Re: Goodbye Ubuntu Netbook Edition Maverick, hello Jolicloud

Well if you don't give them the right to [insert generic legal jargon] with your data then how do you expect them to provide the service? It's merely common sense... I dont believe it "common sense" to allow any third party the right to use any personal document I place on my computer in ...
