After setting up the appropriate repositories and installing Scratch (the default text editor from elementary OS not the Programming system) and all it's dependencies, I am unable to locate the software in my menu and unable to launch it with the "scratch" command under a terminal. This On...

Re: Help! Stuck in Obsoleteness

Have you tried changing your repository server? This can be done in Synaptic Package Manager, Settings > Repositories > Download from > Other, and then change the server. Changing to the Netherlands worked for me once when the main UK server was temporarily unavailable. I tried this and got the sam...

Re: Want to install using USB stick

Without knowing exactly how you used Unetbootin, I don't know that you can solve your problem of a persistent USB install. I have used Unetbootin successfully with Mint Gloria XFCE and have it working as a persistent drive. I can explain how to make the drive persistent, but not until you can get t...

Re: Expecting of Mint v06 - When the "F" Lady is going to come?

My apologies I wasn't aware of the anouncement in June. In any event, its a bit Ironic that the predestined name turned out to be the same as my request. Thanks for keeping it "Felicia".

Kudos and Cheers to all.

Re: Expecting of Mint v06 - When the "F" Lady is going to come?

I hope you all don't mind, but I'd like to make a humbly meek request for the "F" edition... I have this cousin who was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer and is undergoing treatments for it... her name is Felicia, I was hopeing if it's not to much to ask that this next edition be named in her...

Is it a public or private upload? (I checked the mirrors, and was disappointed). Best, Anthony Sorry, private testing by the development team. You will see the announcement on the Main page if it's a public release. The testing might be done this weekend . Ok this was posted a month ago, the weeken...
