i was coming from linux mint 16. The live usb stick did not boot correctly. I had to use the limited boot option (forget what it was called, it was the 2nd option when booting. I then installed from usb.
I believe I can get to grub by holding the left shift key when booting?

Open firefox and says an update is available, I click update, but the connecting to server just keeps running and running never connecting. Is there something I should be doing to update firefox?

LMDE - Romeo
I have been using LMDE since it came out. Is Romeo enabled by default?
If not, I guess I should have it enabled? Why or why not?
If yes, how do I enable it?
Thanks so much!!!!!!!!

Re: Computer suspend? something else?
No ideas :( Perhaps if you post your system specs, someone else may be better able to help. You can use the command "inxi -F" in a terminal to print most system specs. nixie21@LINUX-MINT ~ $ inxi -F System: Host LINUX-MINT Kernel 2.6.32-21-generic i686 (32 bit) Distro Linux Mint 9 Isadora...

Re: Computer suspend? something else?
It is not the display. I set it so the monitor never turns off. This morning the screen was black, so I guess the computer is going to sleep even though I set it to never do so.
Any ideas?

Re: Computer suspend? something else?
I am not home to look now...is this what you are asking for:
come on after 15min
turn off monitor after 30 min...
Also to add...
Sometimes the computer is fine for a day or 2, no problem, sometimes a couple of hours and it can not turn back on!
