This is what I did before: Debian 9+, Ubuntu 14.04+ and Mint 17+ If you get gnutls_handshake() errors after adding the Brave repository on Debian 9, you may need to uninstall old conflicting packages. sudo apt install apt-transport-https curl curl -s https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/br...

Brave Browser [SOLVED]

I just installed 19.1 Cinnamon and want to install Brave Browser. Went to their site and copied and pasted instructionsin terminal. Did not seem to finish. Last 2 lines said something about triggers. Thank you for the help but decided to use this as prime time to update to 19. So, as soon as I get my files transferred to a backup hard drive, I'll just install 19.

What is the terminal command for launching browser (firefox, chromium)? and menu? I lost the buttons at the bottom of the screen. Do a right click on the panel bar, then click on System Settings . Then under Hardware group, click on Display . There find the setting for Resolution . Change that setting to something lower, then click Apply . Under Syst Set. I do not have 'hardware' or 'display' I have 'Appearance' with 4 button...

Looking at my desktop here on my laptop and comparing with the pc monitor(of the new install) Both have Computer and Home Icons on the top Left. Yes, at the bottom on my laptop here is the same basically as the 19.1 cinnamon on the pc....except here I Have: Menu, desktop, terminal, etc

And on the new install I do not have the first one, the menu button. There I have desktop, firefox, terminal, files. That is all [on the left side]
