any way to turn off wifi led ?

I was wondering if there is a way to turn off wifi led completely including when connected and upon any network activity ?

None of the methods mentioned here didn't help -> http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=95081

Re: LMDE was what I meant all along

Just a quiet word of caution for some folk getting excited about LMDE, if I may. Please don't get me wrong either, I love it, I have migrated nearly all the Mint installs that I am involved in to it, BUT, there is one aspect of it that some less experienced users may get caught short by. LMDE is ba...

Re: Windows 7

About the 7: It certainly has nicer interface although much nicer (aero effects, glass, minimize, close, open, maximize effects (for which I personally don't care at all)) than functional (desktop peek, new taskbar). Security problem are still there as in xp. UAC is supposed to make things going saf...

Re: Will Linux get significant market share?

I personally don't care even if Linux's (to me bit fishy) market share even dropped down. Only really important thing is that the projects are alive and running so we can keep using this great software.

Re: Configuration files on update. Keep or Replace?

I always choose replace and this time, my login screen changed. Logo above my name changed to debian logo. Background of the login screen changed from Mint green background to something like a blue debian wallpaper with debian logo in it. As if, Mint branding has been replaced by Debian branding. s...

Re: about this dist-upgrade thing

Personally, I would just use MintUpdate as normal and give dist-upgrade with apt a miss for now. The issue of how MintUpdate it will handle kernel upgrades etc will be addressed after the main Mint 10 release. Thanks for replying. Unfortunately (or not) I already did dist-upgrade, so therefore have...
