Yeah, the server has been down pretty much all day. Kind of annoying as I can't get some updates. Just hope they're back up soon I just wonder if they host the ISO files on their web server. Too many requests and a lot of downloading stresses server CPU and memory. In the future they should just re...

I've also notice I don't see the plymouth theme when starting up. Never saw it when I ran the live installer and after I installed. Apparently when clem and the others ran the tests, they succeeded. No such luck for me.

There should be a user friendly way of installing proprietary drivers. [edit] I mean a newbie friendly way. That was the culprit on line 442 of the pastebin. Replacing commands.getoutput with os.system fixed the issue, I did not get a hangup during APT cleanup, installer exited successfully. Upon reboot, the system logged in normally and was able to perform a sudo apt-get update without generating any dp...

I believe we have to wait until the official announcement to receive the link to download. Hopefully that will be soon because I'm really excited to try it out
