No need to do what M4t3us said.

In your /etc/default/grub it should be: GRUB_DEFAULT=2
As you have three entries total in your boot menu, and the counting starts with 0. :wink: just remember to update-grub afterwards.

For now, the easiest way to start compiz is via Fusion icon I installed...

Hmm, I tried placing it in /etc/init.d/ or adding it through Startup applications, but can't get it to work. What am I doing wrong?
