Re: Installing Gnome Power Statistics in Linux Mint Xfce
I think part of the problem is where it runs from via a flatpak
/usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=connectagram org.gottcode.Connectagram
for my game of connectagram.
I read in one instance at least the I had to log off/log on in order to see that in the Games category.

Re: linux mint desk top screen has lost upper and lower ribbons.
I had something similar happen but mine was I had no background picture and could not right-click to change desktop in addition to no panel.
I added
xfdesktop
to my startup applications
Might be your problem too?

Re: Installing Gnome Power Statistics in Linux Mint Xfce
Maybe as root user edit
/usr/share/applications/gnomepower?
and check out in the file the
show ony
and add xfce
Might work, might not worth a try though.

Re: Why is Firefox update always so slow?
I open up synaptic and then in the repositories click on the main one and when it's done choose the fastest. Worked for me.
In fact do it to all in the repository list.

Re: LMDE unable to see network
Well those instructions are kinda like the instructions to open the box are in the box. You need the network to install you suggestion. It would have been a great idea for linux mint to have the latest kernel in the download iso. Ah well, I will just trundle on with linux mint xfce, which btw, saw t...

LMDE unable to see network
It appears that my pc, VivoBook X1803 with Alderlake is too new. Cannot install as my pc has no Rj45 adapter either. MX-Linux has a newer kernel AHS that works but MX later on loses the network anyway. Seems only Linux Mint XFCE works with my pc, so, does anyone have any ideas? System: Kernel: 6.1.0...

Re: Colors rendered wrong in gtk
Take for instance Mint-X theme. It's a light gray color BUT it renders as a really lite tan color and II do mean lite. Thunderbird, when it comes up the bottom section is a deep brown although I am embarrassed to say "I cannot reproduce that". I am truly at a loss and I really appreciate a...

Re: Colors rendered wrong in gtk
BTW, I had installed Windows 11 the other day via Asus' Cloud Recovery tool and updated everything for the laptop. I upgraded the bios a few days ago.
Now, as I posted earlier, I did a re-install of 21.1 with Xfce 4.16.
