Thank you for that information. Today my networking stopped yet again... So following what I could find... I installed the mentioned driver package and rebooted the machine... Networking was dead... but by removing the driver and reinstalling by the modprobe command and restarting the network manage...

also I would note... that this machine runs chrome with YT and Jellyfin running most of the time when it locks up and also after a kernal update... that's why I was thinking that if some thing what running out of memory causing the NIC to cease functioning in Mint... and so far the only cure for thi...

This machine runs Mint 99% of the time... the only time i recently have booted into windows is when Mint networking fails... Also wifi is not used on this machine... it's using ethernet... To boot into windows I have to access the BIOS boot menu and select a different device to boot into... Secure b...

I would but this computer is a dual boot system and it works fine in windows... then ill boot back into mint and networking will still be broken...
